Instructors and Students: Please Ignore “Changed Password” Emails

September 15, 2015 Bryan

A few of our users have received “Changed Password” notifications in their Cymail from our website. Please ignore these harmless emails. While such a notification can be alarming, we assure our users that their user accounts are safe and secure.

Our server administrator has traced the problem to a bug in one of our plugins. The developer is aware of the issue and is working to resolve it. Once an update becomes available, we will install the update and these notifications will cease.

Again, the notifications are harmless, and we are happy provide instructions on how to filter these messages from our users’ inbox, if requested. We thank everyone for their patience and understanding.
